Peiyao Yu began as the Organist at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in September of 2024. She is also a member of the organ committee at Claremont United Church of Christ. She holds a Master of Music in Church Music with a concentration in Organ Performance and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from the University of Kansas. Additionally, she obtained a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Chamber Music Performance from the University of Michigan. Prior to relocating to Los Angeles, Dr. Yu was the Associate Organist at Country Club Christian Church in Kansas City, Missouri, for two years. Alongside her role as a church musician, she is actively involved in teaching and accompanying, and she takes great satisfaction in collaborating with others and contributing to the community through her music.
